Arterium LTD joined the “Pharmbudget 2023” conference. The international conference “Pharmbudget 2023” was held in Kyiv. They discussed regulatory changes that have already taken place and what the farm market should expect in the near future and after the end of the war.Experts of the pharmaceutical market, representatives of regulatory bodies and pharmaceutical business all got together. Serhii Sur, director of Arterium LTD, also took part in the panel discussionOne of the topics discussed is the European integration processes in the health care system. Ukraine received the candidate status for EU membership and adopted the new Law “On Medicinal Products”. Over the next few years, we have to implement European regulatory requirements.Serhiy Sur noted that the new Law of Ukraine “On Medicinal Products” should be considered as a tool for implementing these requirements. It will enter into force 30 months after the end of martial law, but work on implementing the requirements of the new Law and European norms should already begin in the near future.“We have a lot of work ahead of us to harmonise legislation, prepare and implement dozens of by-laws,” concluded the director of Arterium LTD.Serhii Sur also commented on the creation of a new regulatory body for state control of medicinal products. According to him, it is important that the work is transparent. The new regulatory body should deal with the regulation and control of circulation of not only medicines, but also of other goods of the pharmacy market.
